Mother’s Day at Asteria
This year, we’re doing things a little differently and a lot more intentionally.
For Mother’s Day 2026, every arrangement leaving our shop will be made with 100% locally grown flowers. Sourced from Northern California farms at the peak of their season, these blooms are fresher, more vibrant, and more sustainable. They reflect what’s growing right now in our region and allow us to design in a way that feels natural, abundant, and deeply connected to place.
Because of this, all Mother’s Day arrangements will be Designer’s Choice only.
Working with local flowers means we’re designing with what the farms harvest week-of, not from a fixed recipe. Availability can shift quickly depending on weather and field conditions, so we’re not able to accommodate specific flower requests, color palettes, or customizations for this holiday.
Instead, you’re trusting our team to create something beautiful, seasonal, and one-of-a-kind using the best stems available. This is where our work shines most. Each piece is designed with intention, movement, and that signature Asteria feel.
Make a Morning of It
We’re also opening the shop early for a special Mother’s Day edition of SUNDAY.
Join us from 8am–1pm for coffee, baked goods, and a slow start to the day. Whether you’re picking up flowers, bringing mom by, or just stopping in for something warm and easy, we’re creating space to linger a little.
Pre-Order Pastry Boxes
Our friends at Kiosk Bakery will be offering pre-order pastry boxes for Mother’s Day pickup at the shop.
It’s the easiest way to show up with something thoughtful and complete. Flowers in one hand, pastries in the other.
